Moral Purpose
At This Is My Education believe passionately that every young person has the fundamental right to receive education that focuses on mental health and wellbeing as well as academic success.
We are passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. We are focused on changing the stigma surrounding mental health and focused on developing a curriculum that promotes resilience, self-belief and a growth mindset. We aim to invest heavily in our staff development to empower a team that is equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide holistic teaching as part of a whole school mental health approach. We provide our learners with access to the local community to make links and allow them to feel more connected to their local area. Each student within our school will receive access to 1:1 emotional support which is a scheduled part of their timetable each week.
Our moral purpose can therefore be summarised below -
· Passionate
· Determined
· Adaptable
· Collaborative
· Commitment
